‘The Mandalorian’

When we meet Mando and Grogu, the New Republic technically leads the Galaxy after the defeat of the Empire at the Battle of Endor. But we soon discover just how lawless much of the galaxy remains, especially the Outer Rim. And while the bureaucratic progress of the New Republic proceeds at a very slow pace, the former Imperials are forming a new evil superpower, a fascist government that will eventually become the First Order and take over the galaxy.

“The Book of Boba Fett

This mini-series about the one-time bounty hunter went back and forth in time, from the aftermath of Boba’s escape from the Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi to the adventures of Din Jarin in The Mandalorian. It is also in this series that we see Grogu training with Luke and Ahsoka before abandoning his studies to join his adoptive father. Boba, meanwhile, fills the power vacuum left by Jabba the Hutt.

“Ahsoka

The new Disney+ series in the Star Wars universe, which arrived in 2023, takes place about five years after the end of Return of the Jedi, according to Rotten Tomatoes, and stars Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka as well as many live-action versions of ‘Star Wars Rebels’ characters, such as Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla and Grand Admiral Thrawn. The character has already appeared in the second season of ‘The Mandalorian’ and the series will be set in an equivalent or later period.
